On Saturday and Sunday we tried to catch up as we have been very busy,we had drinks with the team and then headed out to the Golden River Chinese Restaurant for dinner .On Monday we hired a mini bus to transport our friends around the island. After a couple of days I'm getting more and more used to eating with chopsticks, however noodles are still a challenge. Later the three of us went to the bar where they would have free beers, ...

Paradise Found

... close enough to our hotel to warrant evacuation. Watching the blaze at 5am was a little surreal. Luckily it was contained and extinguished without any casualties to anything but some gaudy tourist garb. We took the fire as an omen to move on and preserve our memories of paradise without tainting them with mediocrity (sorry Langkawi, we hardly knew ye). Our Thailand adventure started with a wang and ended in paradise. Our Malaysia sojourn is off to a bang; hopefully we find paradise again along the ...
