... gong sounded once and you know the rest. We're not really sure who made up the audience - perhaps brass players, venue subscribers or perhaps just curious locals. There was no talking at all other than Nigel introducing the soloists, "Soprano Cornet, small, only 1 in band, Colin Clarke". The Maori group were predictably loved by the audience. They are awesome! First person we met was Jacob, the 21yo son of my friend Tim. We were eagerly met but those we knew from the trip in Australia and started to catch up. The parking of the cars out front was taking place and received some tooting from the traffic as the collection of large ...

Our flight from Hong Kong was delayed due to a late arrival of the plane. We ended up arriving in Dalian at 10:30pm. Fortunately we got to sit next to a nice guy from Dalian who spoke good english. He gave us some tips on things to see in Dalian and advised us on how much the taxi from the airport should cost. I confirmed they would have meters to determine the cost. Once we arrived in Dalian we were pleased to see our bags ...
