... afternoon she said they were going to drop us off in a shopping mall for an hour but she then faced a mutiny by all the passengers as we all wanted to go back to the ship. Once she realised we all wanted to go back she persuaded the driver to take us back. At least she got several tips for her efforts.

... a shame that they were dwarfed by a huge theatre! Chinese efficiency was exemplified by what we have tagged the IPCG or Impending Performance Commencement Gong. At 6:59 the theatre gong (a recording) sounded once to alert the audience and performers that the show was about to start. 10 seconds before we were due to walk on stage the gong sounded 5 times and on we marched.
