The advice found in our travel book: Ask seven Chinese for directions and you will receive seven totally different ones, all likely to be wrong… Interestingly enough most Chinese can’t just say “no sorry I don’t know” as this would be impolite. Kind of funny (or not) that we have different interpretations of what is impolite ;-).
