... were staying at hotels and camper cabins, so don know where she got them. I heard they are making a comeback at motels. According the info I found, only some people show signs and are therefor allergic to them. I never had a single bite. I am only allergic to wasps. She got Benadryl, tylenol, and the Epson salts. Even bought eucclyptis oil from a snake oil saleslady in the mall. Helps but they dont heal fast. Any ideas from our fellow nurses or anybody who have been bitten by them?
Branson, Missouri, United States rogersusieqDear Blog,
We went to Table Rock Lake and Uncle Chuck rented a pontoon boat that we could all ride on. Once we were out of the no wake zone we gunned it and found a calm spot. I got onto the tube that was tied onto the back of the boat. The tube ride was a very bumpy and I almost fell out a couple of times. I rode on the tube twice. Everyone in the group except Uncle Chuck and Aunt Amy rode on the tube. My mom and Chris fell off ...
Dear Blog,
We made the from the hotel in Baltimore to the Red Elk Lodge in Branson. We woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning. We waited in the lobby of the hotel to catch the 4:30 bus from the hotel to the airport. Our flight left on time suprisingly, and we landed in Atlanta for our four hour lay over. I kept myself busy, and we left for Branson on time. When we arrived at Branson airport and we thought ...
We didn't have to be out of the condo until 10:30, so we took our time getting ready and getting packed up and everything cleaned up. We ended up heading to breakfast at around 9:30. We went to the Grand Country buffet on our way out of town. Traffic on 76 again was horrible. We tried to use the other optional routes but ended up on 76 for part of the way. It was worth it when we got ...
Branson, Missouri, United States cewhite... like Leo. They offer an audio tour for an extra $5, but we passed on it this time since we had already done it and we were short on time. I always enjoy this type of museum. The Titanic story intrigues me, and they also had a new exhibit of things from the movie, which was not there before. When we left the museum, the line to get it was a lot longer than before, so go early if you can. After a quick lunch at a local MacDonald's, we met the guys ...
Branson, Missouri, United States cewhite... for supper. This was a must-do for my dad. It has become a tradition for he and my mom to eat here on their first night in Branson. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The guys got Bar-B-Que and said it was very good. My mom got chicken and really enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, wasn't very impressed with my "world famous" catfish. It just wasn't very good. I probably should have just gotten ...
Branson, Missouri, United States cewhiteWe had fun.
2 magic shows.
NOAH the Musical at Sight and Sound Theatre
Kayaking on Table Rock Lake
Putt-Putt at Pirate's Cove
Dinner at The Bleu Olive!
It was our honeymoon. We loved it. Like our wedding, it was perfect.
... Our last hurrah in Branson was the Kenny Rogers Show at the Grand Palace. This was John's favorite performance. He opened with a comedian and after an intermission he sang an hour and 10 minutes of his old favorites as well as some new stuff and there was no reference to the vets. I thought the show as a whole was terrific but Kenny didn't steal my heart away from Larry. :-) We left Branson heading back along the way we came............
