was a 40 minute climbing mountain drive. It was very pretty and
quaint with wonderful huge plane and chestnut trees but the view of
Volos Bay was patchy through the mist and clouds which cleared a bit

... sandwiches. We then continued down the street and stopped at another restaurant. Here we used the internet for hours and had beers and stuffed peppers. I have to say these peppers were some of the best I have ever had in my life, and the only reason anyone would ever want to come to Volos. We headed back to the ship late afternoon and watched tv and read, before heading to dinner. We went to bed early since we have another early and packed day tomorrow.

In the village square is a plane tree which dominates the Taverna (Tabepna Greek spelling) and is around 500 years old.We sat and had coffee and local cake which was complementary, then a walk around the village and viewed a nice little church which would hold about 20 people.
