... who had been a tank driver in Desert Storm. He and his son helped us look, but even with tank expertise, we couldn't find it. We figured let's go for a drink before the game. Tim "yelped" "bars in Bluefield," and Applebees is what came up. (You get that we are out in the boondocks.) Off we went to Applebees for a beer and a diet Pepsi, where we encountered another refugee from the baseball parking lot. Everyone had two hours to kill.

... up after dinner. I'm on a streak--19 straight days finding a cache. I'm hoping to extend that to the last day of summer, so an easy and early West Virginia find is quite helpful.

And that was about it for today! We're up early tomorrow--we have to meet the ATV folks by 8:30 at the trail head, about 45 minutes from here. Will try to get some photos of us soaking wet on ATVs--should be rather entertaining!

... min hike to the crag but it was like walking through a rain forest. There was rhododendron trees and a little man made ladder on the side of a mini waterfall you had to cross to continue down. It was beautiful. When we got there I sat around and watched for awhile, I was definitely not on the same level as these crazies, but everything I did try, I enjoyed.
