The lot today is soft…they must have received rain recently (probably the same precipitation we experienced the other day) because most of the semis had to be towed ONTO the lot. Thankfully, Alex parked us on a different part of the lot with easy access to the road and though it was a bit soft, we had enough grip to drive ourselves.

We are crossing vast areas which would have been cowboy trails and transport routes across states. They would have needed to stop and refuel the people and horses at regular intervals.

When we arrived back in Searcy, we noticed the old motorhome wasn't out in the selling yard.
Could it be true, has it sold!! Yay, it has! ...
... of storms and rain all day Tuesday. Ed had a night out at Jacksonville with Ricky, Reggie and Roland (great guys) from the dealership. Reggie is from the deep south, and such a character. Ed would like to record him to share with you all when we get home to Oz. Just his laugh alone cracks us up.
Had Dish TV installed on Wednesday. Yay, finally have lots of channels.

... we took the Motorhome for its first drive to get Gas and Fuel, or as they say it over here "Propane and Gas". Bit daunting for Ed on his maiden voyage, but handled it well. I felt sooo weird sitting on the 'driver's side' without a steering wheel!!
Friday was 0 degress all bloody day, must admit was pretty to see snowflakes again. We went to Little Rock to check out some of the sights. Visited the William J Clinton Presidential Library (didn't see anything about Monica??) ...
