Today we slept in a little, packed up and left Crystal Isles RV resort. We stopped in downtown Crystal River for a little souvenir shopping and an early lunch. The only shops open were dive shops, but we found a few things. Lunch was at Crackers by the water. The food was good and it was nice to look out at Kings Bay. The monkeys are fed twice a day from a menu designed specifically for them consisting of: green leafy vegetables, bananas, oranges, sweet potatoes, raw peanuts and monkey chow. They stay on the island because they prefer not to swim and the river acts as a natural barrier. They still delight the Yardarm and hotel guests with their playful ...

    ... us.

We did very little all week apart from take in the beauty, the peace and the wildlife. Jamie parked himself on the deck with a fishing rod and pretty much stayed there all week. Alana and I parked ourselves on loungers and pretty much stayed there and Kevin, poor thing, took to bed with flu for the first couple of days and felt very sorry for himself. He felt MUCH better when he ordered a drink and was asked for ID though! ...
