I'm sitting at my desk and setting up this blog- one of many things I'm doing this week to get ready for my trip. While I'm gone, I won't have access to my american cell phone, but I will have some limited email and facebook access. This blog is where I plan on updating most folks while on the trip. I just bought a car, and I am going to fly to California, pick it up and drive back to Fort Bragg, NC. We moved on across North Carolina, staying only a night, or two, at a few parks in Forest City, Lenoir, and Ashboro. The Zooland Park in Ashboro looked like it was going to be great, however, once again, no cel service, therefore, no internet either. ... and great staff! I would go back to Alaska anytime! Great time to go too, in July, with 18 hours of daylight! Came back into port on 7th day and flew to SanFrancisco, visited with my sons for 4 days and flew back to North Carolina! Great trip!
