Just a quick note: yesterday, the 10th of Dec. we made it past mile zero in downtown Mobile and further to Dog River Marina. 1 Hour ahead of the cold front.

Happy Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving y'all! We are still in the boat yard for another weekend until work can resume next week. Yesterday, we enjoyed a great dinner at neighboring Turner Marina where 50 - 60 people gathered to celebrate a boating-style Thanksgiving. The marina owners provided the deep fried turkey and beverages and everyone brought food to share. The weather was a perfect 72 degrees and the food was wonderful. High and Dry
We finally had the boat pulled from the water early this morning and are "on the hard." That's the nautical term for dry land. The process took almost an hour while they pressure washed the bottom of the hull and placed blocks securely under the boat to make it stable while it's out of the water. We have decided since we now have power hooked up we will just stay on the boat while work is being done. That way we can monitor the progress ...
