This morning we decided to head over to Little Havana, I had entertained the idea of actually going to Havana on this trip so this seemed like a good plan to me. It was cool, very little. Day 7: Checked out of my hotel the night prior as the desk dosent open till 8am so i had to drop the keys at the desk as i left the next morning around 4am it was the worst booking i have done to catch a plane, I had to get to the Miami International Airport 3 hours before i boarded the plane which was at 7am.
The airport had a food court so i got some mcdonalds which is cheaper then ...
Enjoyed our free breakfast, a lil but ropey from last night. We checked out and went walking around Key West in search of the famous Key Lime Pie restaurant. Passing Ernest Hemingway's house famed for his eccentric lifestyle and 6-toed cats. After a couple of hours of searching we eventually came across the restaurant facing harsh weather conditions of extreme sun and humidity a big slice ...
... making really annoying puffing and hissing noises – which became even more annoying when he was still doing it about 50cm from my bed at 3am, then back up again at 7 seemingly wanting to let everyone else know he was awake again, just incase we didn’t already.
He only said two things to anyone the entire time – the first being ‘oh man this ***** getting crazy now’ as if anyone else cared – his pleas for attention fell ...
... then went back to our hotel where we were upgraded and I collapsed on the bed. I slept for a really long time and really struggled getting up. I was absolutely wrecked when we were leaving for the basketball (Miami vs. Dallas game). I had fever, those infamous body aches I keep going on about, MASSIVE headache and earache and now I’ve conveniently developed a super blocked nose and I keep sneezing every five minutes. Ab fab.
