... we thought we might try for nightjars. So we headed for the loneliest roads that paralleled the border. After inadvertently almost crossing the border into Mexico, we found a very quiet road and within 5 minutes had two COMMON PAURAQUE and a COMMON NIGHTHAWK. The PAURAQUE we calling, which was cool.
