... Great Grandpa and were fortunate to see Great Grammie in the lobby on our way out as she was coming in. Lunch was more turkey - I love leftovers. We relaxed, played some games, packed and sadly came time to leave.

A very chilly night, 33 degrees brrrrr, we were not anxious to get out from under the warm covers but time to move farther south. Crossing into New Hampshire for a visit with George’s cousin Peggy and her husband ...
... time). On Saturdays, they show free classics, and on Sundays, they show free silent films with a live pianist. We saw the 1939 Classic Ninotchka, starring Greta Garbo and Melvin Douglas. It was outstanding. Paul won a free ticket to a contemporary film (they tend to show art-house-type movies) for knowing what Peter Seller's last movie was (The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu in 1980).

after sailing in more rain, we were greeted with a wonderful dinner by Rick and the 1st shower of the trip (in Jane's fantastic outdoor shower). i still felt like i was rocking at the table but at least i was dry (and now clean).

I thought it was a really nice hotel and, although we were the only people in the resturant as it was now getting late, we had a great meal (one of us had a huge amount of steak and several tasty beers - the other water + a salad). And so to bed at the end of our first day.

At 4:30, we loaded the cars with our suitcases and picked up my sister's fiancee before going to the airport.
