    ... and took the subway to Bleecker Street where we spent a couple of hours poking about the shops there and on Broadway. Mid afternoon we retired to the hotel for a short rest before the final dinner and show of the New York season. Dinner was at a very nice restaurant in W42nd Street called Aureole. Friendly, professional service and a classy dining room complemented the fine menu. We couldn't fault any of the dishes we enjoyed. Menu, as usual, copied below. ...

    We got hungry so Matt got a gyros from the Street Meat vans. Gyros are a greek dish which is a meat sandwich basically. He will miss these as he has been getting one a day. I had a hotdog and we went to starbucks to get a drink for myself. They had free wifi so we thought we would stay there a little longer and eat our food there.
