We finally pulled away from Highlands around 10:45 am. The weather was sunny in spite of the forecast. We drove to I-40 to Knoxville picked up I-75 to Lexington, went west to Louisville and then north to Lafayette Indiana. Over 500 miles was enough for one ...

... location and hearing the consequences of that battle certainly helps you appreciate the freedom we take for granted back home. The Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum and Prophetstown Historical Village were both must see destinations and despite the cold winds and snow (yes, it snowed today) we managed to explore the battlefield and the historical village and state park for much of the day. Apparently your gum tissue regenerates super fast- like hours not days and they are going to use a laser to cut away the tissue to recent crown. I feel blessed that we stayed at the town of Crawfordsville as this dentist office is awesome. I want to live here!!! I've waited for my whole life to have a fantastic dentist and here she is.

There was a time change between De Motte and Remington, something we did not know about until the sponsor told us…I thought I had looked into that, but apparently the information I found was not correct. Thankfully, it wasn't a huge deal at all, although the sponsor contact, Tammy, had invited us over to her house for dinner, so they ended up eating pretty late in the evening by the time we got there. And what a feast it was…I mean, it was honestly like sitting down to ...
