    ... than normal for the time of year. Getting sun-withdrawal symptoms and wanting to warm up a bit, we continued west having to miss out on our stop in Mississippi. A shame, because reputedly Meridian has the best ice cream in the land (and we all know which crew member loves ice cream)!     ... at the car we decided to move on to another walk, but when we got there it was closed. We then went somewhere else on the reserve where there was no available parking. We then drove around a bit and I happened to see a few bison through the fence line, so we stopped to look at them.     I can't get over that today is the last day of September! I've been in Texas for the whole month which has flown by so fast. 3 different places I've stayed to. Today I was going to the homework center. Taylor had to work today so Erin one of the other tutors came and picked me up.
