    ... River gathering last year. Wrapped up against the chilly windy drizzle in our sweaters and cagoules, the canopy was closed quicker than normal to keep whatever warmth there was inside! 1900ft was as high as we could go to start with, but the visibility under the cloud base was much better than anticipated.     ... Just buskers on the street and loads of people just dancing along with them, especially Peter! Eric and Blake were true gents helping me walk the wonky paths in my heels, literal slopes I had to be guided along which was hilarious! Blake helped me all the way back to my car, by which this point me and Carlie had our shoes off walking the cobbles! The night ended with a dance party in the car on the way home and getting in at half 3! Perfect night ...

    ... travel time. Obviously the big leg is coming up at 16 hours on a plane. I'm not especially looking forward to that part. Flying makes me nervous and the longest flight I can remember taking has been stretches of 3 hours or so. My laptop and the in-flight entertainment are going to be my best friends, followed closely by the Zyquil I've packed. Still, I can't wait to get there.

    Made it to breakfast today. Spent most of the day working in the hotel lobby finishing of mixes for the Epping C of C kids album. Hopefully catching an NBL basket ball game tonight.
