    Newwwww yooooorrrk!!

This morning was an early start rising at 5:30am sharp. The journey took us longer than usual with transport not lining up so once we got to the airport it was straight to the gate as the plane was already boarding. We flew with Virgin Atlantic and the flight was a dream. The plane was brand new with all the tech, a bar and adjustable tinted windows instead of shutters. Thankfully there were ...

I visited Bloomingdales which was quite pricey - well far too pricey for me but lots of lovely things to look at, then had to make the dash back to the lower East Side for my 4pm Tenement museum ...

... the statue of Liberty, and I saw from far the lines for going into the statue, no thank you!

The sun was shining, I enjoyed the view, seeing this helicopter parking, the skyline of south Manhattan, Governor Island and finally Staten Island.

Once there, just walking ... and I see this museum, where they tell the story of the ferries over the years, this whole exposition about the Cicata (cigale in French, ...
