      ... living in the desert. Some students marry other interns and have children and still live here. All his papers, designs were just put on permanent loan to the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Columbia University. It was a fascinating tour! You are not allowed to film where the interns work or any of their designs. Pictures were not allowed in the living quarters either.

      March 1st-Friday- I was up early and Phil up later when he smelled sausage cooking. A nice sausage sandwich for breakfast! Early afternoon he walked to his bank and I drove to my credit union. I had to get the payments to John straightened out. I think we finally have it so he will get a monthly stipend from his account from his dad's estate.       ... we chatted to him (a policeman) and packed our bags ready to go to the bus station at 7.
