... get it when we visit our daughter in Hawaii." Thanks for sharing Joe! They ended up making us delicious pancakes and some sausage and had great conversation. After they rode us out to the hwy on their tandum bike. Tricia called it the conseling bike. When they were having a rough patch in their marriage they bought it so they would have to talk to each other. That's figuring love out if you ask me.

... the dog would pull out his ears sometime when they got in his way of dancing. It was an excellent time and we stayed out much later than we anticipated!
On Halloween, T and Gav showed us around the French Quarter where we devoured some beignets from Café Dumond, got some croissants at a friend's bakery and as if we hadn't had enough fried and buttery dough, we also ate a couple-day old doughnuts that were hanging out in the shop. We all were so tuckered from dancing ...
... children best through example. They gave us all we needed to be good, kind, honest people. I very proudly dedicate my 48 state tour with love to Mum and Dad, Phyllis and Walter Laskey. In their name, I am trying with all my heart and strength to help children. I can think of no greater tribute.

... everything we saw - the white sandy beaches and the wooden clad bars. Each day was fun packed starting with a morning workout in their garage, courtesy of Heather who put us through our paces with exercises that we hadn't been accustomed to for a while. This routine was a good addition as we ate a lot of fried food and drank a lot of beer during our stay so it kept us alive!

... for what felt like an eternity but was probably much shorter, our wonderful beach neighbors helped him back.
After the beach we took a scenic drive through the Gulf Shores National Seashore while the kids sacked out in the car. Then dinner and a great fireworks show on the bay! Great day in Florida and we're excited to get to Nora Carolina to see the Murphys tomorrow!
