Wonderful!

We stayed at Homewood Suites last March and would go back there in a second. We had booked a room with an Entertainment rate, and were offered an available room with king size bed upon our arrival. The rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. We especially enjoyed making our own waffles each morning. It's location is very convenient as well and was an easy shuffle up to Universal Studios and also back to the airport.

A good place to stay

Stayed for eight nights, late November/early December, staff very helpful, suites well fitted out and in good repair, maids keep them very clean. Room was very quiet, with no noise filtering through from other rooms. Added bonus of breakfast included, word of warning though, seating inadequate at peak times, and food can tend to run out after 9am. Plenty of choice if you arrive early.

LOVED IT!

I vacationed in Orlando in April 2003( Spring break)with my children.We stayed at Homewood Suites on International Dr.I must tell everyone who can read this it's a VERY beautiful hotel the room was very clean,the staff was very caring and helpful,it's very quiet and the meals were awesome.Anytime I visit Orlando I will stay at Homewood Suites no question about that!

Whatever it Takes

WIT- Whatever it takes. I've travelled 18 years as a pilot for a major airline. And I have NEVER seen service like this before. The staff was always available to make our stay great. For $99.00 we received a suite, hot breakfast and manager's reception. That effectively reduced our rack rate to $70.00/night. The ONLY down side was a small pool. A non-issue for us.

Good Quality Hotel

My husband and I have always got a complaint about all hotels we stay at but this hotel was excellent. We stayed here in May 2003. We asked for a quiet room and got it. Staff were friendly. The suites were spacious and comfortable. Cleaning staff were the best. The hotel had a really relaxed feel even other guests were very polite. Only negative was the pool in a courtyard style but you have so many places to go and such a great room, that it was fine for us.

LOVED IT!

I loved this hotel We were there in 1999 and were looked after by the staff very wel indeed. The rooms are just beautiful...I wanted to move in for good. It was so relaxing, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very tasty and the happy hour every day was very much appreciated.

The only thing I would change is the pool area...it could be bigger but thats no reason not to stay here as long as you get a towello n your lounger early in the morning before you go into breakfast. YOU@LL LOVE IT TOO!

WIT.They meant it!

Apr25-May16 2003. Have just had the most fantastic 3 weeks at the Homewood. It really was home from home. Very clean and comfortable,and nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. To our surprise and great pleasure the Disney Shuttle provided by the hotel from the middle of our holiday until we left was in a stretch limo,for reasons we were not sure of,but there were no complaints from any of the passengers!! We will certainly consider staying there again,also the location was brilliant for all the theme parks.

A great, clean hotel!

This was a great place to stay. Very clean, and the staff were very nice. Located in a nice, clean location, that is very easy to enter and exit without a lot of traffic problems. It is set off the main highway, International Drive, so you do not hear a lot of road noise. Plus, it is located within easy walking distance of many restaurants and small attractions. I have been to several hotels that offered complimentary breakfast, but this one's comp breakfast seemed exceptionally nice. They offered a wide variety of fresh breakfast foods - doughnuts, fruit, danish, belgian waffles, bagles, juice, sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurt, etc. The staff kept the buffet well stocked at all times. Plus, you did not have to ask someone in a cafeteria-style setup for your food, as you do in some hotels, instead you served yourself. The suite was spacious and very clean, with a well-equiped small kitchen. The TV in the living area even had a VCR hooked up to it. They offered a well-equiped and clean 24-hour fitness room, which was nice since most hotel fitness rooms close at 9pm. The only warning I have to give about staying here is to not have a room close to the elevator, which our room was, unfortunately. The people using the elevator weren't a bother, but the elevator itself was. The noises made from it going up and down were kind of annoying, but not to the point that we could not sleep. I am finicky about hotels, and cleanliness is top priority for me. This hotel has cleanliness going for it, as well as a few other things - good location, nice staff, nice ammenities, and, oh yeah, great price! Definately a great deal for the money. I would definately be willing to stay here again.

Great hotel, great price!

This was a great place to stay for our Disney vacation. VERY CLEAN, and the staff was awesome! They wear buttons that say "WIT". This means "Whatever It Takes" and they mean it. Complimentary breakfast is a wide array of cereals, doughnuts, waffles, bagels, toast, juice, etc ... which certainly helps when you are paying for a family of 4! The rates are unbeatable. The only reason Expedia gives this hotel 2 stars is because they do not have a full-service restaurant and 24-hour bell hop. They suites are spacious and include a kitchen. It is located in a great -- clean -- area, and a fabulous restaurant called BAHAMA BREEZE is located right next store.I am very picky about hotels ... cleanliness is top priority... I would not hesitate to stay here again!
