... flight path will take us north, passing through Beijing, Mongolia & Siberia, before turning east, and passing slightly south of the North Pole, The Artic Circle, and Canada.

We lucked out as we're sitting in bulk head seats, without anyone sitting in the middle seat. As far as I can determine, there are no babies or young children on our B777-300ER jet. Our flight landed at 1:15 pm, and we were home by 3 pm.

... we asked for bulk head seating. We were informed that it wouldn't be available to us as it was reserved for families with infants. Its three seats across with the middle seat only available to babies. The seat would go unsold, if a baby wasn't present. Nice surprise this morning! 8th Avenue is blocked off for a flea market - now we know what we will do between tours! Lots of neat little vendors selling jewelery, touristy stuff, purses, scarves....etc. We wandered down the street towards Central Park to catch the Green Bus to take the Harlem tour. ... was basically saying by buying them from her we wouldn't queue and it was slightly cheaper. She said the queue was a couple of hours. Bla, bla, bla, goodbye street seller.
