After two days in Houston with friends, I headed east yesterday. There were no tie-downs at Houston Hobby airport, but the FBO gave me a great deal in the hangar for two nights. See pic, they had the RANS ready to go Saturday morning, but kept it in the hangar to stay cool for loading and pre-flight! Thanks guys!

What a day of travel. I had strategically driven further yesterday thinking it would benefit me today. Well it did, but not in the way I thought. We drove through rain in Tennessee for a few hours.
