    ... along the river. When we got into the water it was freezing. A guy had mentioned to us that it was probably around 71 degrees (f) I'm the springs but most likely 10 or so degrees warmer in the river. And were we glad for the increase in temperature when we hit the river.     We had a good night's sleep in Gainesville and got an 8am start to continue our southward journey. We drove to Tampa and stopped to stick our toes in the water in Tampa Bay and then drove across the famous Sunshine-Skyway bridge.
