We stopped at Painted desert/petrified forest national park. We drove on into the petrified forest and saw the trees that had turned unto rocks. We stayed ...

... room and I slept on an air mattress I brought with me. No cell reception, and no wifi except in the visitors' center and the cafe. We started cooking dinner (chicken on the grill) and waited for the other girls to join us.

Yay! They arrived! Cathy, Ivy, Alaina, and Steffanie, our partners (group?) in crime! The twins bunked together, as did Cathy and Steffanie (although Steffanie bailed to the futon in the living room later in ...

      What's New For Us?

It's only 11 days until we depart for our adventure around the World. I (Brook) can't express in words how ridiculously excited I am. Terry's actually just about as excited as I am, too. We made a very short, work related trip in June 2012, but that was only a tease. It was horribly crowded to boot. Our absolute very favorite time to visit Disney is between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why? Crowds are ...
