I was born at Sita Bhateja Specialty Hospital (SBSH) in Bangalore, India in the fall of 1986 and adopted by parents when I was 18 months old. I have very little information on my birth mother. When she gave birth to me at the hospital/orphanage she requested that her identity remain a secret, as is the case for many women who give their children up for adoption.
