... It was really cold but we saw some squirrels. We came back had some leftovers for lunch and drove to the lake to do some ice fishing. We walked out on the ice, being careful not to slip. Then we sat on a bucket while Chris or Dad drilled holes in the ice in front of us. We set up our rods and fished. Every child was able to catch at least one ...

... After a while it got too cold and we had some lunch in a cafe. There were some different things on the menu that I has never heard of, like onion rings and chilli cheese fries. ... dolls, beautiful glassware, fun wool hats, pretty metal jewelry, great wood carvings made from wood from Israel carved into Nativities, and so much more. One of the highlights was the delicious German food. Although not German, we got some filled (vanilla and chocolate) croissants and some other danishes. We listened to the accordian player and enjoyed the lively German music while we ate our snacks.

... previous friends couldn’t. Plus I knew this was something I wanted. DU was the perfect fit to reach my goals and what I wanted to do with my life. Nothing could stop me, not even friends and family. They were all supportive, but I know at least one of them was upset and worried I would never see her again since she went out of state and I stayed here. It made me sad too, but I soon forgot it. There was too much opportunity waiting ...
