Part I - Montreal departure This might just be the longest day ever. Although, who am I to complain when I'll be in the country of my dreams tomorrow?! I remember as a little girl I always spoke about traveling to England, it's hard to believe that day is here. I woke up at 4am this morning to catch my shuttle bus to make it to the airport in time. I had a stale chocolate croissant for breakfast (yum, I know), compliments of the hotel, and went off to the ...

... soviet van sawed in half. The place has a huge courtyard filled with old cars and plants that seem to reclaim the walls. It must have been three stories tall with nooks and crannies you could get lost in even if you didn’t want to. I have this one story about a girl that was selling carrots…it was a truly amazing bar.

The next day I just kind of chilled out. That ...

... is nice, but no river view (they were sold out of river views). The room is very spacious. Has a great window, but only and okay view. After we settled in, we went down to the hotel bar for a nightcap (we were a little too tired to go out). We watched the Dodgers and Reds game, which was in extra innings, and we relaxed. Came back up to the room, where I took a bath, and then we read for a little while before going to bed.
