      ... Not relaxing but very good. We went to a place called Westborn for lunch which is like a fruit shop that has a cafe in it. But instead of being served the food you go and pick it yourself. I had a tomato and veggie soup and Andy a chicken Caesar salad. Very delicious! Spent the afternoon at Henry Fords home called Fairlane and a mere 1300 acres then just drove around looking at the general area - it was raining again, but not too ...

      Departed Niagara Falls after a leisurely breakfast in the hotel. It was raining so we thought it good weather for travelling. It was Thanksgiving in Canada so shops were closed - except for good old Walmart and it was a super centre so we decided to see what everyone was talking about.       ... both side so you couldn't see anything. David said that there would be snakes in the grass so as you can imagine I was scared and was treading very carefully.

      We are writing from Detroit, where we landed two hours late after getting our 48 bags onto Delta's small airline. It seems that the luggage bins were so full (the plane was also full, a 50-seater) that they were overweight and had to ask three people to get off the plane so we could take off!
