The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

Germany is my destination of choice because I am predominantly German by heritage, I have family in Germany, I identify with German culture and I have a Bachelor's Degree ...

Then on Tuesday, the 27th, we drove about 75 miles (about 1 hr 20 min.) into the center of Detroit to visit with our Maui friends Al and Lori, in the village of Hamtramck. It used to be completely Polish but now it's more diverse and becoming heavily Arab. Our friends Al and Lori pretty much grew up there and three years ago they celebrated their ...
