Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

After an emotional farewell, I left the atlanta runway, lovingly cradling a big black book I had been given as a going away gift. I had left America after living there for one year and the book was full of messages from friends (and adopted family) wishing me well. As expected I sniffled my way through each message (listening to Keane's somewhere only we know only worsened melancholy). I soon held back the sniffs and tears upon becoming acutely aware of my seat-mate's uncomfortable ...

... That in itself was a huge bonus. I also discovered things that Tyler likes that I had no idea he had any interest in - and he had no idea he liked them either. He really liked hiking the canyons and climbing. I loved seeing him try new things and experience new places.

Lastly, if you haven't seen these places and want to.... Go!!! Start planning right now... planning is half the fun. I started planning a year ago and got some ...
