    From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

    ... mother moment! We returned to Bruce and Judy's for lunch Southern Chicken and rice. Judy (who has 18 grandchildren ranging from 21 years old down to 4 years old) was surprised by how much food my children eat, and that they eat whatever you put in front of them - another proud mother moment!
