After a 12 hour drive, my longest push the whole trip, I arrived in Dallas. I found John and Patty's house, and although it was late, they were both up and waiting for me. Patty and John are old acting friends of my dad. When I was a kid in Los Angeles, we would visit them at there house. These were special visits. John was, and still is, a puppet maker and puppeteer. Some of my ...

We spent the rest of the weekend watching several episodes of Dexter while Tommy upgraded my computer for this trip. Tyler was acting crazy as usual just running around. The next stop will be in Wichita to see the family and eats lots of Thanksgiving goodies.

Because we have such great kids, blending them together may pose some occasional challenges, but if our first meeting was any indication...our kiddos will be BEST FRIENDS. We had a great day playing pick up basketball, and taking them to the Dallas zoo. Much fun was had by all! Truly blessed to have 2 new sons to my already great family unit.

Dallas, Texas, United States dumas... and passed the turning to Ewing Avenue and were left wondering which came first, the avenue or JR?! On the way to Dallas we also passed through Waco, infamous for its siege some years ago. The only thing we noticed that seemed to make the town any different from the others was the apparently unusually large number of churches. Again this got us thinking about cause and effect or was it just something we noticed because of the nature of what we knew about Waco ...
Dallas, Texas, United States yvonne.stowe... one friend that is still uncertain as to whether or not he is going to accompany my group. He seems to be in a "drama" mood as of late. I really hope he's going to go. He's my ride to the convention. Plus, I don't get to see him all that often because of all the extra hours I'm working in order to afford this convention. I hope that for the next A-Kon, I will have a better job with a higher pay.

At Athens I tried to find the RV place but had no luck so we stopped at a Taco Bell and I went in to ask for a phone book so we could find the address of the RV place. I asked the guy behind the counter if I could use a telephone book and he just looked right through me...had no idea of what I was actually saying at all! It took a good few minutes of me saying T-E-L-E-P-H-O-N-E B-O-O-K for him to click, then we were ...
