      ... sea turtle habitat, and for other animals. Its also a recreation beach. We were to, surprisingly, RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE DOWN THE PACK DOWN BEACH!!!       ... to say, it played a key role during the latter part of WWII in the Pacific. Eventually, this ship was decommissioned in 1991 and is now here in Corpus Christi as a National Monument.

      This western side of the Gulf is a much busier place than we earlier thought. It has tourism of course, but what we noticed the most is the huge amount of OIL production throughout the area. There are so many oil rigs out in the ocean; I counted 14 from our walk on the beach. ...

      After a brief time, we continued on our way to the main area. This is where the professionals were working. I was kind of disappointed since they all were still sculpting.
