We ate sandwiches for lunch and dinner out of the back of the baby house. Bud did splurge
and get a post-dinner $8 McDonald’s #4. I got a 0.49 baby ice cream cone. All said and done, we made it 800 miles, spent $47.25 in tolls and $330.49 in petrol. We finally stopped, after 800 miles, at a very nice rest stop in Wisconsin around 11 p.m. (EDT) for the night.
