DAY 5 - Warrenton MO
... St Louis, traffic was quite heavy heading out of town but relatively light in our direction. Expect heavy traffic tomorrow AM as we have to go through St. Louis. Visiting St. Louis
... we'll see... ;) I would have loved more time for us to spend in the Museum of Westward Expansion (which we visited after doing the tram ride to the top to take pictures), but we needed to move on to get to Kansas City at a reasonable time (and do our best to avoid rush hour). We plan to stay around here tomorrow and will probably head down I-55 Sunday.
The motorhome with its new tires worked beautifully and we had no problems. Phil, who
is as handy as Ron isn't, installed a couple of grab bars in critical spots so we old folks
can maneuver more safely,
Except for the wind on the travel days, weather has been cool but very nice and will be

... went to Creative Nails in Chestefield where I had the best pedicure with a foot massage followed by a manicure. Patti treated and made me feel pampered which I so desperately needed. My Gateway To the West
... I can't say I felt the arch move but it wasn't very windy out. I stayed up about ten minutes and then had a silent three-minute capsule ride back down in #4. They send people up every ten minutes, it's pretty impressive. So explored the Museum of Westward Expansion from 4:45 to 5:45.
