    ... are 2 pool tables, and 3 men in there. If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say the average age of the 3 were about 80 years old, just sitting by the bar chatting. The bartender (being one of the guys at the bar) offers us a drink and we start playing pool. We were clearly the entertainment for the evening. They had a good time talking to us and cheering Lisa on, hoping that she would beat me. But that is unfortunately Lisa’s worst nightmare ...

    ... via Interstate 55, but even that took us a good 45 mins to clear the city. We eventually came off I55 and joined Route 66 at Wilmington, where we got our first iconic photo opportunity with the Gemini Giant Muffler Man. He is outside an old drive thru restaurant which has sadly now closed down. Route 66 is fairly well signposted from Wilmington and is a real mixture of types of road. One minute you're going through a housing estate with kids waving at you, the next ...

    Our trip is here our trip is here our trip is here!!! We woke up bright and early this morning, ran to Bread Co. for some breakfast, and are sitting at the airport waiting to fly to NYC.
