This is definitely Coyote Country. We in Montana pronounce the word "Ki-yot" with a long O and no E sound at the end. It must be derived from the way the old fur trappers spoke. ... about 5.30pm. What a great hotel! We're at the Kierland Resort which is a Westin hotel. We were personally welcomed by the hotel manager, toured around the hotel highlights, which included a golf course with the 18th hole at the hotel lobby and outdoor bar, complete with big fire and outdoor heaters (welcomed because we are in the middle of the 4 coldest days in Phoenix since 1988!) with the sunset piped in by a bagpiper. ...
