    ... to show up for the awning repairs. He arrived about 11:30 and spent three hours installing the new spring arm. Once that was done he found that the fuse in the electronic board was gone and told me it isn’t replaceable. I will have to order a new board and arrange to have it installed in Yuma.     ... The woman looks at the man, and she says, "Can we afford to?" and he says, "Can we afford not to?" This place is beautiful. We did have to laugh when we first walked into the lobby. There was a huge insurance conference and everyone was dressed in suits, heels, etc, and we were in our shorts and t-shirts. Quite obvious we weren't in the insurance biz. Paul turned into an insurance guy at 10:00 pm and hit the open bar. 'Nuff said.

    Well we found the Barrett Jackson location finally. Really lucked out and got into the public parking close to main entrance so figure we will stay put until we are ready to leave. Luckily we had stopped at Safeway to stock up on grub.

    ... and very foggy today, but to be 19 again tomorrow. We leave in a week and the airlines are all messed up with the new storms across the Midwest. It is 22 miles of unpaved single lane tracks, with the occasional precarious looking bridge over a ravine, plus 26 miles of winding Tarmac that follows when travelling west.
