...just drive to up to the Hudson Valley! I think we were very fortunate to be able to see two completely different sides of New York. We attended our friend, Brian Tait's wedding in Newburgh. The drive up to Hudson Valley was filled with views of leaves changing colors and rolling, green hills. It was nice to change pace from the busy lights, …
... We begin by flying into Milan Airport called Malpensa, which is actually about 40 minutes to the northwest of the city. We will rent a car (already reserved) and drive to the area of the Southern Italian Riviera known as Cinque Terre staying in the town of Monterosso al Mare. We are staying in a hotel that is at the top of a mountain which is quite ironic because when we were in the town in 2009, we loved the beach and vowed to stay along the beach when we returned. However, I ...
... to get the early bus. "Hold it together big guy, no good will come from making a fuss at this point." Although Kylie would have thought differently. Casually he got the ladies their tickets and assured me the friendly bus driver would wait a few minutes so we could board. Meanwhile he kept saying "Just get the next bus." If you find yourself staying in Newburgh for a while, stay here! Or, even if just for a night. It was such a CLEAN, contemporary, and pleasant hotel to stay at. We felt right at home. The only annoying thing was having to wait for our room to be cleaned when we arrived at 3pm for check-in, but that can't really be helped. We forgot all about that as we settled into our room. Wished we could have stayed longer in this suite.
