We set off to pick up our hire car from Budget this time. We got a great deal booking through a UK dealer and just hoped when we got there we wouldn't end up with the crappiest car in the lot seeing we got a good price.

The lady at the rental place was certainly not the friendliest and I think if she could have given the most rubbish car …

Alrhough this evening it was chilly, that's the first Time this trip I have felt chilly outdoors. Beale street was packed!! I understand why they have barriers stopping people from driving through and they have around 5-6 police cars on every block. Makes you feel safe but at the same time it makes you wonder, why?! ... NOT A TENT tonight. What??? Yep, I didn't ask to switch to a cabin because of rain, but how good did this work out? We saw lightning bolts all over the sky coming home. Before we came back to the cabin, we drove by Graceland and saw it all lit up at night. We then came back to the cabin and watched some channel with all these old shows - Dragnet, Adam 12, and Night Gallery. Tomorrow we head home and I really don't want this to end.

... to the Johnny Cash Museum, we stopped at a western boot shop just next door. It had MANY size 5s. I was a little reticent in getting a pair as the post office was not open. But N convinced me that there was enough room in our bags, at least till we get to New Orleans. I didn't need much convincing. I have another pair of boots!

The Johnny Cash Museum was good, but I'm not sure it was worth ...

... shuttles back to the start point. Even here there was still
much to see including his car collection and then souvenir shops and
various restaurants and cafes. I went into the restaurant and got the
peanut butter and banana grilled sandwich, Elvis' favorite.

Then we had finished with Graceland, so it was back to
the coach and we went to the Lorraine motel, when we got there it
was still early so the museum was closed, but no one wanted to wait
      around, ...
