Apparently Australia is a long way away. Who knew?
I left my home in Bloomington a little before 10am on Friday morning. We stopped by my parents house to consolidate, had a quick lunch, and left the Indianapolis airport at about 2pm. Anticipated arrival time in Australia is 9:15am on Sunday. That's right. Saturday doesn't exist. Mind you, there is a 16 hour time difference... but still.
Elder Heart was created by Magnus as a Veteran organization that does community projects as well as public, private and corporate ART to raise awareness that makes a huge difference for the 22 Veteran suicides that take place every day. Suzi got to come over to visit for a while but unfortunately Don, Stacy, Jason and the boys were all unable to make it. Those poor folks that have to work I guess ;-)
We decided to take a tour of the TC Steel art museum. It's just a few blocks from the Hilgedags and we have admired the buildings every time we drive past them. I never knew it was actually a museum!

This morning Jeni took me into Nashville. It's an adorable little artists colony. We browsed around and found some really cute things for the Midwest room. Shipping them cost a fortune, but they are on their way!
