Our Hill Country weekend began Thursday night at the Baylor / Oklahoma football game at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. Our Bears broke open a close game late in the first half and ran away with a convincing 41-12 win over the Sooners in front of a sold out crowd and nationally televised audience.
Our fellow travelers for the weekend, Barry and Sylvia from Magnolia, were seeing parts of Texas for the first time. Sylvia was attending her first college football game

... to get close to Dallas so I took 19 south. Nice two lane road but the speed limit was still 75mph. Needless to say I was pulling over like crazy to let folks get by.
Well we're in Waco Texas now just 1 1/2 hours from Austin and drive through Temple, where The Gourds are playing to get to Austin.
I get to sleep in tomorrow, have something to eat and aim to get to Austin around 9:30. I heard it is really going to be summer tomorrow in Austin.
... when transferring money. All good. We rode out to pick up new home. I drove the Motorhome back in to town while Ed rode Suzi. Bit scary for me, haven't driven over here before. We were able to store the 'old girl' at the RV Park. Now we have two motorhomes to drive back to Searcy, Arkansas, to sell the old girl. Me thinks I know what's coming!
