    ... in......so a tow truck would have to be dispatched. At 8:15 that evening we were in tow and headed to the Cummins dealer for repairs the following day. By 9:30 we were sitting in the parking lot at Cummins with the blessing of 50 amp electric and water, because they were a coach care facility, and some ice cold beer in the frig. Tonight we'll sleep off the disappointment of the day. Tomorrow.....I just know our parts will be there as planned.....or will they?

    ... us for almost an hour! Nothing amiss was found, of course, so I guess our number had just come up and it was 'our turn'. It was late, dark, wet and cold when we finally arrived at the I-5 and Lacey, WA Walmart, but we were quickly snug and warm in our trailer eating turkey soup, then climbing into our fleecy-sheeted bed!

    An early start the next day took us to Camping World and another Walmart ...

    ... a place called Bakersfield. After googling it, it seemed like a city of considerable size and interestingly the most conservative in California. So the Chevy was on the road again, this time heading south on Highway 5 and further inland.

    ... I really need/want is really more than I want to spend and larger than I want to carry. A simpler solution is not to use the phone much, I’d wanted to use it to post blogs if I could find service at all, and to buy a 2nd battery for the camera then have 2 charged batteries. If I were writing a professional travel blog then I’d get the fancy stuff but alas I’m not there yet.
