    ... to be delivered the line-up grew to 20 or more people. The owner came by and we chatted with him while we waited. The brisket was so tender and smoky you could just tear it apart with your fingers. The "special" was outrageously flavourful with a good bite from the peppers. After eating it you pretty much need a shower to clean up. It’s no wonder this place is so popular with the locals.

They give you a pre authorization ticket for let's say the $200.00 you think you will use and then you go back to the pump and begin fueling. If you have guessed properly you will hit the full mark and the pump will shut off somewhere just under the pre-authorized amount.     ... If the roads are closed or they require an inspection to assure we have chains for the car, we will NOT be able to enter the parks. Oh well!! That possibility also exists on the Northern route and thru Yellowstone when we get there. I told Rhonda we will just play it by ear, and if we can't.........we can't. Still a wonderful trip that we will be thankful for the rest of our lives.

    ... Barb and Dennis leave us to continue their trip. We decided to stay another night and drive over to the Sequoia National Park. Made for a long day but so worth it. This is an amazing park. There is no way the pictures capture how large these trees are.
