Funny event in LA before boarding! in the lounge area, about four planes due to leave. Rather LARGE man walks past and Shazz comments, "behave or you may end up sitting next to him!" Good one! We get on the plane and who is there, right next to me!!! One LARGE person who needed all his seat and half mine! Was very difficult not to laugh.... ... today, so no need for hats or gloves. We visited the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Reflecting Pool (Forrest Gump), Lincoln monument, The White House and The Vietnam Veteran Memorial. Some really nice places here and loads to see. Everywhere seems to close relatively early on a Sunday in DC so it was back to the hotel to chill out tonight.
