... that you always saw the astronauts walking up before boarding. Seeing the space shuttle Atlantis, which has a whole building devoted to it, was the highlight for me. Along with the Canadian made space arm, it is quite the sight. They even had the Hubble telescope housed alongside Atlantis. Our entrance ticket also came with admission to the bleachers to watch the rocket launch. We heard announcements and status messages from mission control including ...

I've attached a google image of this one to give you a feel for it as there wasn't a chance I was going up there for a picture! He also went of the slush gusher which is on of the only slides where you achieve what they call air time (no bum on plastic). We did loads of rides together here too, including the toboggan racers and the downhill double dipper. This one you ...

Day 162: Quiet Day in Orlando

A travel blog entry by mfln31 on Jun 12, 2014

... World Cup game. There was quite a lot of celebrating by the Brazilian members of the family! Unfortunately Karim and Wendy had to go into work at mid afternoon for the rest of the day, so the rest of us went for dinner (except Barbara and Michael who weren't feeling great) then watched a film followed by the 4th NBA final game. It's so nice spending time with the family, it's a total madhouse but we're all enjoying just hanging out with each other. ...
