It seems completely unreal that I'll be boarding a plane in less than 24 hours to fly to the other side of the world. This is never at all what I expected my semester abroad to be like, but I think it'll be interesting experience. I have my worries just like anyone would and sometimes I wonder if I really made the right decision, to basically take a semester off from school (except for two online gen ed classes) and volunteer on the other side of the ...

I'm still a bit uncertain about the concept, but it seems like this company finds abandoned spaces, decks them out with pillow forts made of old pallets, drapes trees with fairy lights which somehow give everyone the appearance of someone else, and then sells overpriced beer in a friendly chilled out venue in the middle of the city. ... inside the market but it probably would've been better for lunch rather than breakfast. I bought a juice and a bagel, nothing from the Amish though.
Then we kept walking down Market Street to the Mutter Museum. Such an interesting but incredibly gross place. It's basically a medical oddities museum, so there were tons of deformed fetuses, pickled limbs and disgusting wax figures of diseases. It made me feel a bit sick after a while. I did see the liver of ...
