It seems completely unreal that I'll be boarding a plane in less than 24 hours to fly to the other side of the world. This is never at all what I expected my semester abroad to be like, but I think it'll be interesting experience. 1. John likes a high travelling pace in which we get to see a lot of things. Terrie is warming to the idea but likes to have time outs now and then, such as the Goa Yoga retreat. In this trip we visited:

This was made particularly memorable by a guy who was begging for any money or food or anything.... he gave a really good speech and we all felt super awkward and sorry for him, but weren't going to give him anything. And then some guy offers him some Doritoes and the beggar turns to him and says "actually I'm not that crazy about Doritoes' we were all laughing so much - apparently it's "something about the crunch."

... s turn to head down the wrong side of the road luckily there was nothing coming and Dave quickly did a U-turn, following this we had to stop as a chair flew across the road from the strong winds moving in from a storm.
It was getting dark and the storm clouds were moving in as we crossed another state line into New Jersey. Here we found another motel and settled down with some bud lights and the Olympic highlights on the TV. Tomorrow we're going to Jersey Shore!
