... the car and we were happy. We decided to keep going and head over to I-95 where we would rest tonight at the nearest hotel. Today was our only "half unplanned" stop as we just wanted to meander. We did, nine and a half hours later we pulled to rest. We also knew we were not going to get back into the car for dinner. Right next to our hotel was Applebee's, packed with travellers, heading south and heading home, in cars and on ...

      Thoughts on a Napkin

... turns boys to men; we’ve come out with 7 extra hairs on our chest a piece. It was safe to say we were on our way (AA rhyme scheme). First stop: Washington DC. Cruising down the I95 at a steady pace, we all agreed the Robin VAN Persie was starting to omit a smell reminiscent of Gunpowder, Treason & Plot. We all bounced ideas off of each other as to what it could be. Patch was more than confused.com, naively checking the battery signal for ...

... for mostly sailing (less motoring). Day 3 was also our big fishing day – more about that below. Day 4 was mostly motoring again and by 0600 on day 5 (May 19th) the wind disappeared for the rest of the trip into Norfolk.

As mentioned, day 3 of the passage was our big fishing day. Earlier, soon after departing on day 1, we had lost two mahi. On day 2 ...
