    ... somewhat nicely kept up given that there wasn't much going on there. It's adjacent to Norfolk, a giant military city.

  • Norfolk, home to the east coast's largest Navy fleet, was insane - both traffic wise and people-wise. Couldn't get near the base of course, so I headed to Virginia Beach for the night, 20 minutes away.
  • Saw an awesome moon-skape over the atlantic (see picture, kind of).

    Craig has expressed the thoughts of all of us so well - thank you, Craig. Sylvia and I would like to put on record our gratitude to Mandy-Jane and Craig for all the advance planning they did; and to Craig for his route planning and navigation.
