Nice hotel, clean suites, good locale. -1 star because arrangement of furniture is awkward if you're using the pull-out bed. Other than that, preettyy goood.

It was a slow ride but it was good to pass through the main Downtown area and get a look at the shops there, so we could plan where we wanted to go another day. Feeling pretty pooped back at the flat, we put our feet up and poured ourselves a glass of wine each. Scott, our host, also offered us a glass of his homemade whisky cream liquor, which was pretty good! That evening we met up with Paige, one ...

Mum and dad have been sequenced after Ryan since I check them in immediately after I do our own. I knew that I would have missed my boarding position but hoped we hadn't missed Ryan's or mum or dad's - as I said, if we're last on, we're first off if overbooked. We rounded the corner ...

It is a physically striking city, and as I hinted yesterday, the street-scapes and architecture is very different to anything I have ever seen. Much of central San Francisco is built around hills - so as you get to the top of a hill, some of the views that emerge are breathtaking! Going up a cable car today from Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf was ...
