Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

They really stressed the importance of not touching the walls, ceilings or formations, pointing out that doing so was a third degree felony. Apparently the oils and dirt in human hands can impact the caves, and we could see evidence of that when comparing the first caves that had bats through them 4,000 years ago with the caves that were sealed off ...

I met me some real cowboys, watched a popular country singer live, learned to two step (with a cowboy) and wiggle dance then raved until 2 am! After a 4am bedtime some of us were up early and out again ...

... river level. What a beautiful place. Both sides of the river have places to eat and drink and are beautifully landscaped. The walking paths are filled with people having fun and enjoying themselves. We took the river boat ride to see the whole River Walk layout. After the boat ride, the four of us were ready to stop and have a snack and a drink. Bruce saw a place called ***** on the river and we went for it. What a great place to have some fun and ...

Many people have recommended to us that we visit San Antonio. So today, we set our sights in that direction. We left Corpus Christi at 8:30 AM and 55 degrees (brrr) and headed inland. We drove through miles and miles of flat country…cattle ranches and farms. Most of the crops have already been harvested, leaving neat furrows of black soil, so rich that many fields were covered with a yellow/green haze where grass and weeds ...
