... Rosen were to join us. But first we stopped by Lisa and Scott Diamond's house, which is just around the corner. Little Evan had a bit of a cold so they were not joining us for dinner (Lisa and Alan are sister and brother). By way of explanation, the Rosen's are Bobby's cousins. Evan is growing up fast and we compared tents. Evan can stand up in his tent and he has a tunnel to enter. I can stand up in Nemo, but I think it does better in snow. Alas, Nemo does ...
... There were also loads of shows to watch and we went on the studio tour which showed us where all the films were made along with the sets they used and showed us some of the tricks they used to film things! We eat lunch at a little taco shop (we are eating a LOT of fish and shrimp tacos!). We finally arrive back at Los Angeles and head ...
... Oxnard, CA. I recall that the very next time I bought strawberries at a market in Birmingham, Alabama, I looked on the package to see where they were grown. It wasn't Oxnard, but another area of sunny California.
Signs throughout town indicated an upcoming Strawberry Festival. Too bad it wasn't going on that day. Time permitting, it would have been a fun thing to do.
