Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

    Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

    Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

... set off on our adventure to the marina to catch our cruise boat. The weather called for rain, but the skies were clear and sunny. We were able to pick the bottom level or the top, so we went with the top. The view from the harbor and around the island were just amazing. we had such a fantastic time. Even though we didn't see dolphins the ride was breathtaking.

Had a great time. Love cooking on the gas stove ! Had a blast.

Dogs had a blast and were super tired at the end of each day.

Park was adequate. Sites are small and many spiders. Bathrooms are not walking distance. Better sites on first loop on left side as entering park.

... skimmers, red knots, ruddy turnstones, and many more. I also visited the beach almost every evening for sundowners, as Florida’s Gulf coast is also the sunset coast. Absolutely stunning sunsets all around, especially after the massive thunderstorms that roll through the area regularly.

A few weeks later for Memorial Day weekend I visited an Atlantic Coast beach in Melbourne (Florida) with my friend Jon and his daughter Zoe. Jon’s wife Mari is one ...

... her many Baltimore aunts uncles and cousins.

She was at Goucher when her closest Jacksonville girlfriend Grace Kramer (later Leitman) wrote her “Bevy you must come join me at University of Florida.” UF had just admitted women and Grace was in its first class. “There are so many smart and handsome guys down here.” So Mom decided to do her “junior year abroad” at UF. She joined with Grace and her new lifelong friend Joyce Glicksberg as ...
