I have been meaning to post this for some time . . .

When we first met Addy, we were given a very special book with pictures of her when she was at the orphanage. Inside this book, we saw a glimpse of her life there, include the nannies that cared for her. We often wonder if she misses them and if ...

We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

... s mode reflected that, but a lot of effort was focused on the rebuilding, strong American spirit. Other things displayed are the war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Katrina, the war on AIDS, gifts from foreign dignitaries, Laura’s gowns and of course his family. About the decision to go to war in Iraq, there was a big theater with individual seats in front of computers, and the name of the theater was "What would you ...

    Sleeping off the jetlag

... hotel. Upon arrival, my mom hinted that we needed to tip the driver, so I took out $2 (nice to finally use American cash), and gave it to the driver, noting that 2 other passengers just walked off.

After a speedy check-in, it was off to our room. The whole hotel reminded me of a motel feeling, where the rooms overlook the "atrium" of the hotel. It wasn't bad, but compared to our previous experience in Asia, it was definitely different! Our room was 341, so we ...
