The family regarded ancestors as extremely important so would pray to them before every meal, ultimately offering the food to them. It was such an old house, I thought I ...

... toiletries, etc, are fine, but crushed crackers and other leftovers from guests just made things look untidy. Angie and I were on the ground floor. Julie and Sandy, who were in Apartment Four on the top floor of the building, had similar issues with the cleanliness. Overall though, it was thumbs up from us.
