The past two days have been absolutely wonderful, even with the rains that have lingered (and even gotten worse). Wednesday, we traveled to a unique burial mound in the shape of a cross. A lovely walk through the woods sheltered us from the majority of the larger rain drops and the walking sticks we bought for our trips came in very handy on the muddy path. Afternoon brought the rains that the weatherman are promising on and off for the next couple days as well - we will have to dodge rain drops!!
